UPS strikes again. "Lost" my 145.012. If anyone sees it floating around please let me know.
Serial# 250099xx. Unfortunately it was in good shape so not many identifying marks other than some defects on bezel near 110 and between 225 and 250, and some missing lume on minute hand. Oh, and a little black mark base of minute hand.

Oh, did I mention I hate UPS??

Insured but not for full value (long story and my bad)

 

Will keep a close eye out for it on the bay, I believe Omega now have a 'flag' list of serial numbers of watches that have gone awol so if they appear at any time in the service network they red flag. I have a good contact in Swatch UK if you want details as a first port of call to reach out to them.

I feel your pain. The aforementioned uber rare Carrera was mine, and due to their incompetence it's gone forever. Hate UPS with the passion of 1,000 suns.

 

Oh I know! 7753. I remember it so well because I just happened to have found one two days after yours went missing. Was worried I was getting yours except mine is black.

 

Update. UPS seems ??? to have found it. Proof will be in the pudding if it shows up tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the concern.
Maybe if it comes I will celebrate with a search for a nice tropical .

UPS is evil. USPS registered mail is the way to go, even though the paper tape packaging requirement is kind of a pain. Fedex isn't too bad.
