Metal indices reapplied, but dial not repainted?

I came across this piece. At first glance it looks redialed - the metal indices are not aligned with one another. However, upon closer inspection, the painted stuff such as minute track, Seamaster word, etc. on the dial looks original. In my opinion, it seems unlikely that the metal indices will be poorly applied if the watch was redialed, given that the painted stuff looks well executed. This means:
1. Dial was not repainted but indices were removed and reapplied
2. Omega factory defect (have any of you encountered something like this?)

Thoughts?

Thoughts?
Always be extra suspicious of vintage watches with crisp white dials and black printing.

IMHO it is a re-dial

Omega wording looks off and the spacing between "AU TOMATIC"

Also, no lume on the dial, but it is there on the hands. A no-no with vintage Omega (and most others).

...And "matching" off-white date disc.

Bad redial.
Apart from what said above, minute markers too long and too detached from edge.

Certainly looks like a redial to me.

😒

Edit: ok just read the OP completely. As mentioned above it is not only the badly aligned markers but also spacing, Font etc. that is suspicious...

Never one to mince words, I'll simply call it what it is, a pile of shit.

Does this indicate that the disc was replaced? Can it also be considered that it is patina?

Probably a time-patinated date disc with a newly painted in bright nuclear white dial.
