It was sold to me as an authentic Omega band. Watchmaker thinks it's a newer one from the Planet Ocean watch. If it's not authentic I should return it, hence this posting. Can anyone chime in on that? Thanks!

I think @Damo was asking if you will be asking Omega for an "extract of the archives" for the watch, not the bracelet.

I personally don't get my knickers all in a twist about buckles and bracelets. Yours looks OK to me.

So, where'd you get it? Do they have any more?

Here's my Seamaster Chronostop on some non specific bracelet. I have no idea what is the story behind it, it came with the watch.

That looks great. Some more expert users can chime in but looks like it is, or is supposed to, look like the original metal band that would had come on it. For me, I was trying to get the sleekest possible band for this larger, lovely watch.
