Merry Christmas

Thinking about Christmas through the years and remembering the times we were “finished” Christmas by 6am because the kids were so excited and up so early. It is more civilized and I am more rested now that they are adults but would not trade those early morning memories for anything. Here’s to old Christmas memories and making new ones. My son burst into our room at 6:45 am. And he did not fall asleep last night until almost 2:00 am.

3-1/2 hours later we're still waiting for grandpa to get up. But we let out son open a few things so he could make it through the morning.

Unfortunately regular day for me packing and moving but tonight plan to watch two of my favorite Christmas movie

1)1938 a Christmas carol
2) A tree grows in Brooklyn

Honestly didn’t watch a tree grows in Brooklyn until maybe 5 years ago but it brings back good memories when my mother was well enough to come to my home for a couple weeks. Although to be honest she thought a tree grows in Brooklyn was boring.
