i think it will be a big hit. it's too bad they won't don't cap the amount of watches made. that makes it kind of lose it's luster on he collectible front.

and really,...there's not much difference between the kickstarter earlybird price and regular price to make you have to buy it asap.

Been following this project for a long time and know Stijn has been unbelievably passionate and detailed in every aspect of the watch. I'm really looking forward to the release as well.

I really like to look of these watches and will be swapping out my Seiko diver for the Bonaire.

 

Which one did you get? I got the 38mm white coming my way at the months end

 

I couldn't make up my mind so I got both 38 and 42, both in the jet black LE.

they look nice. I avoid dive watches without screw down crowns. The pricing seems steep for an ST1-11.

 

The Bonaire has a screw down crown, why do you think otherwise?

Im digging the design. It looks like Blacpain FF with the fat bezel. How good is the movement (let's say compared to ETA)? I am not familiar with ST

 

like the Baltic Bicompax I think they've got the design and look pretty spot on. The colours and finish are top notch. I'd be very tempted by both companies . Unfortunately i've been burned twice (not watches) by failed kickstarter companies and am more hesitant about throwing money in for such a relatively small discount.

 

ST are made by Fossil, The ST1-11 is a copy of the ETA 2824.
I have a Magrette with a St1-11, & it works well.

 

I really like this.
However, that rounded bezel seems very familiar to me, to another micro brand I just cannot put my finger on currently, it came under consideration when I was looking and ended up with my Magrette.
It's not a Halios, Yema or Trieste but that neck of the woods ( pricing / style wise), its driving me nuts now..
