Damm I'm speechless Dick was a top guy spent many hours on the phone to him talking watches and loved talking about his boat 🙁

We tend to form great bonds with some members and even though it's mostly a virtual friendship it can be a bit of a shock when this happens.
I experienced a similar loss a while ago so I understand how you and others who knew him are affected.

Although we weren't connected, I'll raise a wee dram to his memory tonight.

That's awful news...

We last spoke in summer '21and traded some Speedies. All round top guy who knew his stuff...RIP Dick.

I’ve had a few deals with Dick over the years, he was indeed a thoroughly nice man. Condolences to all his family and friends.

That is a shame, but nice to read from others who knew him. Good to know this part of his life is remembered here as there must be a lot of other less personal forums out there where someone would just be forgotten.

@watchlovr Thanks for sharing this pal, only just seen it as I’m not on the forums much at all, last spoke with Dick in sept and sent him a message yesterday to see how life was going……he was last online December and it made me wonder after sending him the message if things had taken a turn for the worst, very sad news and a lovely fella, rip Dick x
