Thanks to @Tom Dick for quite a bit of help.
The clock was irresistable in an auction, and tickled back to life by Tony at STS.
The Marine Chono was from TD and in the kind of condition I could not say no to,
Finally the Constellation was a pickup from WOK bought slightly by accident, and it had what I thought was a tropical dial - it didnt, so here comes Mr TD again with a fabulous dial to make it what you see here.

Any one else got a MQ to share?

That Megaquartz wristwatch in the box is something I've sure not seen before. I used to hang out over in the HAQ forum on WUS sometimes, and that certainly is a well respected watch. One of the most accurate watches ever made.

Weirdly cool these mega quartz monsters. C&C had one for sale recently but it was quite expensive.

I have an entry-level blue tapestry dial MQ that is nowhere near the same caliber (sorry) as these beauties!

Thankfully, my chunky funky TV dial Speedmaster 176.0014 is building up my left arm in preparation for ownership of one of the gold stardusts.

I first a saw a Marine Clock at STS.

I love the idea of this accurate clock - bolted into a ships bridge.

And delivered in its own box....

I do not know too much about these, I know others here are encyclopedic. So I let the pictures talk.

    1-P3290088.jpg
And then the idea of a wrist sized, "clock" capable of the same accuracy....

    1-P3290045.jpg
And then by complete accident I bought this constellation in auction - it turned out so much better than i expected...

These are great fun to wear - I highly recommend them - and for all the speedmasters spiraling out of reach, there are nuggets of fabulousness in Omegas history that can give equal, or more pleasure, certainly for better value!

I can answer that, yes, solid 18k gold, case and bracelet.
    Much heaviness.

W, is that Connie a waffle dialled variant?
Very delicate dials I believe, not sure if they are more or less delicate than the "stardust" ones.
BTW the "stardust" dials have to be sen to be believed, amazing things and every one different.

    Love these MQs !

Here's your 4.19Mhz Calibre 1525 clock in an ad from the early 80s when the Calibre 151x 2.4Mhz had been "replaced" by the Calibre 1332 powered "Omega Marine", a nice sleek watch actually. Good to know Tony works on 1525's too, what was wrong with it ?

Is there such a thing as a thread dibs? :whistling:

I don't often consider buying watches as CAPEX but these are worth it.
