He is wanting to be financially independent, I think he should stay away from watch collecting

Vancouver is a nice city, I used to live just across the in Bellingham. It has been a long time since I've been there, but that would be a long trip for me these days.

Their web site says their chapter is for lower mainland BC - so Vancouver Island may not be included.

Any member of NAWCC is welcome at a chapter meeting. Guests also eligible. I have been to chapter 121 meetings a few times.......back before I left the organization.

Folks from the island where at the last meeting, it seems to draw from a good distance
