Everyone and their grandmother has a Submariner or Sea Dweller... not to take anything away from those divers but let's fuse a formidable diver with a chrono, add a heaping scoop of robustness and BAM!:
It's also just massive. I'd much rather the J-LC Deep Sea Chronograph - the regular model (not the one I own) has an indicator on the dial for when the chronograph is running, stopped, or reset. (I own a different model in the same family)
Certainly qualified to handle the deep end of the backyard pool. I don't care what depth it's rated for. Any FF is a cool watch.
Lume is not near as important as the enormous non-diving dive watch wearing WIS community thinks. If you're on a night dive or deep enough that you would need a glowing watch, you're not going to be diving without at least two light sources and the spill-off of any light is enough to illuminate your watch. Lume really matters more at night, on dry land. The lume ISO dive watch standard, like many of the ISO standards is not really well thought out. BTW, what makes you think this watch isn't lumed, anyway? Looks like it is to me.
All hands including the chrono ones are lumed. With the bezel lit up, the watch glows like a beacon in the dark.
King? I see you chronograph and raise you a solid 18k gold case, tourbillon, and an 8 day power reserve (just in case it's a VERY long dive I guess)...
