So I just got this mechanical Omega Geneve cal 601 back from being serviced. First time of winding it since it coming back and it seemed to only want to wind 5 times before I felt resistance. It ran for a few hours and stopped again. This was the first time winding it so I don't know if I'm being paranoid but it seemed strange to me. I don't know much about mechanical winding watches. What is the correct way to wind them? For the record, it was serviced by Omega out of an Omega boutique. IMG_9174.JPG IMG_9177.JPG

Take it back to them. Bad service!. If you feel resistance and keep winding you may break the main spring.

I had my 48 year old 613 serviced in May and it winds 25-30 turns and runs a minimum of 36 hours. Take yours back to the service team

I can't add anything in a technical or mechanical regard, but I do want to say that is a beautiful Geneve!
