When measuring watch hands which point do I measure at?
And is it different for the seconds hand as it usually has a long "tail"?
    Thanks.

Hand dimensions are not the overall length, but from the center of the hole to the tip. Tails are not included in this measurement. On your sketch it would be dimension B.

This is the standard way hands are measured, but of course there may be exceptions. If you are buying hands, probably best to make sure whoever you are buying from is measuring them in this way.

    Cheers, Al

Thank you Al. I am looking to replace the hands on my Seamaster with ones that have working lume. www.ofrei.com offers a couple different lengths that will fit a 563 cal.
