I'm new in the vintage Omega world so I'd just like to ask for your opinion on a watch.

I really love the subsecond, that the hippocampus on the back is really clear and that the crown has the omega logo, but what do you guys think about it? Would it be a good first vintage omega?

It's a seamaster 30 cal 268.

 

It's at a premium and I do not think that a Seamaster 30 warrants that, it's simply not rare enough. I have a look on DBA.dk from time to time (Aalborg here - velkommen ombord!) and I have yet to find any decently priced items.

 

£315 is ok imo

 

Where do you buy then? Most of the watches I find is somewhere around that price?

But what do you guys think of the watch? Does it look like a good deal or do anyone think like the dial has been changed or something?

 

To expensive, i am from Denmark to, and i know some of the sellers, they buy on Tradera.com get the it polished so it looks nice and sell it again with a 1.500-2.000 DKK markup...... So if you are comfortable with buying on auctions find a nice one on Tradera and you will have money to get it serviced. I think the Danish prices on vintage Omega is way to high.

Looks correct, crown looks quite worn, ask for service history.
