Suverans are absolutely fabulous watches to collect. You should read all you can about them, fantastic history and origins. I will leave it to Mike to ascertain value here.

 

IMO the condition of the case and dial does not warrant the price asked.

Here is mine (although not a bullseye dial). Notice the crisp case condition! I bought this for a bit more, but it's in much better condition than the one you showed, which is worn and overpolished.

 

Suverans are nice - the condition of this one isn't very good - dial is aged and case has been polished. I would say the range is $400 up to $900 depending on condition. Watch the ebay seller marturx - he will sell some nice suverans from time to time though they usually will go at the higher end of the price range I specified.

 

By the way, no need really to include the previous poster's images in your quotation; those can be deleted individually. Just increases everybody's bandwidth!

The photos from the auction are not of high resolution, but you can see that the case edges appear slightly rounded, and the original brushed finish on the lugs is gone.

I would wait for one in better condition, certainly. You will not be satisfied with a watch of which you know the flaws even beforehand! Be patient; these turn up (sometimes on the forum sales sections or dealers lists rather than eBay. Mine had been consigned to a dealer I've bought from in the past).
