Hi everyone! I'm new here and new to watches, especially vintage ones. I've been reading as much as I can, but there's still a long way to go before I'm even remotely competent, so I'm hoping to learn as I go and lean on your collective expertise.

What do you all think of the watches here? Are they good deals? I know a lot is said about redialing, but what's the best way to tell?

Maybe a list of 11 is too crazy, so let me narrow it down to 4:

Lastly, what are other good websites/forums I should be looking at?

    Cheers!

The second and the fourth are both very beautiful and they are from two very serious italian dealers.
The fourth is pretty expansive in my opinion, also considering it's very small-
The price of the second is around 8000 euro which is also a bit expensive for a 35mm gold compur but I it's in very good condition and it has a killer dial ( all original).
Romain Rea has also two very beautiful Compur for sale, also a bit expensive.

Just bought a Tri and am a couple weeks away from an RGM 801 COE .... Otherwise I'd go for that watch.

I echo you all, the 2nd one was my favorite. However, I think the price was a bit high. I'm going to be patient for my first UG purchase

All the 4 of these Compur are nice, but something puzzles me, it seems that none of them have the three-dimensional concentric circles in the subdials, the surface is flat...
Now I have about 15 compur from that era and all of them have these concentric circles. As far as I know when you refinish a dial, 95% of the time the three-dimension is altered. Wouldn'd these dials be some old refinish ?

I held back, they all look great (particularly 2) but what 10H10 says holds H2O ... but suppose it could be the pics!

I'm a huge newbie, so I might be misinterpreting...but #1 and #3 and 4 definitely look 3D (sunken in) to me. We're talking about the small circle on the left that counts the seconds, as well as the small circle on the right that counts the minutes for the chronograph, right?

No, we are talking about the concentric grain within the subdials
