This watch looks very clean for an old watch. I'm surprised the bezel doesn't have some wear on it?

There a appears to be a 145.69 for sale in the auction on the w/e but not as in as nice condition?

Well the value is what they are for sale for. It's really up to you to make a informed decision

In my opinion both watches descriptions are honest to what they are selling


The auction prices are only estimated and we all know how north some of those estimates go most times.

 

The only question I have about the first listing you've linked to is if that's a replacement bezel. It might be original since the rest of the watch is in great shape, but I don't know for sure. If interested in that piece, I'd be sending a PM to one or two of our Speedmaster experts.

If you insist on a NATO, I’d recommend brown shell Cordovan which will highlight any hint of brown in the lume or dial and will be supremely comfortable. Here’s my straight writing on one:

 

I've been having an awesome time showing my parents around the nicer parts of northern CA (i.e., Sonoma and Carmel-by-the-Sea) but I'm bummed I missed you of all people helping out with a Speedmaster!
