Hi, I need some help/advice regarding my PO 8500.

So I bought this watch about a month ago, secondhand from an AD. It looked perfect under the bright lights of the AD, so I bought it.

Any way, the problem here is that at the 10-15 minute marker on the bezel insert, theres some of greasey stain/shine to the matte ceramic.

I have tried EVERYTHING to try remove the mark, to no avail. I’ve tried the eraser trick, lemon guice isopropyl, the usual soap/toothbrush but nothings shifting it!

Can someone advise or give me any ideas.

    3 parts vinegar
    1 part dishwashing liquid
    6 parts water

Use to clean matte ceramic tiles so should work

I would go back to the AD and discuss the problem with them. Not sure whether you have any recourse but have the discussion. Also, take it to Omega if there is an OB near you, show them the bezel and ask for advice about cleaning it. If I were you I wouldn’t try cleaning it with anything else.

Good point. I’ll see what they have to say and take it from there. Its annoying even though its not that visible in most lights but I constantly feel myself looking for it!
