I am planing to restore this pair of vintage Tissot PR 516 Chronographs (sorry for the bad image):

Unfortunately both of them need a new crystal, I know they are super rare but one OF-member told me he probably may have some in his stock. But at first i need to know the part number.
Who knows the part-number for the original Tissot plexi matching Ref 40528-1x / Ref 40526-1x

best regards,

Timo

Are the crystals cracked or chipped? You might be able to polish out the scratches with some elbow grease and Polywatch

Yes I was also wondering as from the picture I think they are quite salvageable.

No, unfortunately Not. One is missing an edge, the other one is in better shape but shows some white marks inside the plexi that are under the surface. I believe it has been deformed a bit.
Ofcourse I have already tried to polish it...

Finding a part number and source for these crystals is a real pain in the arse. It took me two years to get a part number, and then a little longer to find my crystal for the two register model.
I eventually found the crystal by digging around in the back end of the Cousins website. I'll see if I can dig up the info again - it was a couple of years ago.

That was quick. Well done.
If you haven't worked it out already, you will need to carefully prise the chapter ring out of the old crystal and press it into the new crystal.
