I find it highly amusing that the SKX they have in the photos has a misaligned chapter ring, just like mine Dammit Seiko how hard is it to get that right?! :whipped: 馃榿

This is so very tempting. 200m diver, with a manual-winding, hacking seconds movement, on a bracelet, for $230?? 馃槻

I don't know if I can resist that kind of value.

I'm contemplating buying a second if that conveys how incredible these are

Sold out of the SRP775 (black and gold). 馃檨

However this thread convinced me that I need one of these no matter what so I went ahead and bought one from Amazon anyway. 馃榿 Still a steal at $285 IMO.

I've got a Pepsi SKX... for some reason this seems better in the Pepsi and the SKX in black...

Do I do a black turtle?

Simply a mazing watches. Maybe the best value for money in the watch world. I owned the 775 a while back and definitely enjoyed it. How Seiko profits from making a watch of that level of quality for such a low price is, frankly, mind boggling.

All that said, I still prefer the way the SKX wears on the wrist and I kind of love its quirks.

In this video, Federico sums up well my personal thoughts on the Turtle vs the SKX:

TLDR is that the Turtle is far and away the better watch from a technical standpoint, but sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants 馃グ

Pretty sure I've seen the Pan Europ Chrono for this price or less before. Seems a bit high for the 3-hand, but I confess I've not followed the price on it in quite a while.

I'm torn, because I really want the PADI one, but not entirely sure it's worth spending almost twice as much on it.

Can't beat $230 for a Turtle! I have to say though, where in the world is Massdrop getting the original price from ($730)? I believe MSRP is $475, and you can get them on Amazon year round for just under $300.
