Here for sale today is a Marvin chronograph from I'm estimating the late 1930's to early 1940's. I don't know a lot at all about this watch as it was an impulsive purchase at a watch fair just recently that I've now decided to let go of. The 33mm x 47mm step case has the cool swivel lugs, fixed bars and a stainless steel back, wearing well on the wrist on an open ended strap or NATO. The dial has evenly patinated to a kind of parchment colour, with black arabics, a blue snail scale and blued steel hands. The Val.23 is winding, setting and keeping decent time with the chrono also functioning correctly.
