    The only marriage watch I regret not buying was a recased Jaeger LeCoultre minute repeater pocket watch movement that went for <US$3k. Still hurts.

    I am curious whether an Omega service watchmaker may have done these marriages. I doubt that any other watchmaker would just have these parts on hand and decided to exchange a worn or damaged part in this way.

    I have asked the seller if he can explain as he states
    the watch is 100% authentic and running - just been serviced for 300$ oiled and cleand and been
    checked for water resist!

    This was his reply:
    the watch is 100% authentic omega,
    the part replaced is also omega original.
    iv added some new photos of the movement you can see its a clean original movement
