Hello,

Recent purchase of Seamsaster 300m blue ( 2021) - there is a tiny " nick" pm the metal part that meets the blue ( i.E the top rim) it kind of shines in the light. Any ideas ? I do not want to take it back.

thanks

Sounds like you knocked the bezel against something and scratched it (or dented - hard to tell based on the description with no picture). While you might think you never hit it, this can happen without you even noticing it.

You are going to have to live with it unless you want to spend money on a new bezel.

Yes. Exactly, on the top part that meets the colour on the seamaster 300.

If you actually wear it, it’s not going to look like a safe queen forever.

I’ve had mine (black 2021 SMP) for a little over a week and I’ve already got a tiny chip (or whatever you want or call it) on the crystal. Fortunately, it’s not super obvious and I can only really see it if I’m looking for it.

Pretty soon we're going to need a separate sub-forum for these threads. Nick on bezel, spot on dial, scratch on crystal, bezel slightly misaligned ... what am I missing?

Very true, it’s just when it’s brand new 🙁
Anyway time to move on I guess and enjoy.
