The well known Rolex/Omega/military/comex watch expert has died. I had the pleasure of getting the benefit of his expertise a few times, he was always generous with his wisdom. RIP. That's sad to hear. That isn't my area of focus but I've read a lot of his stuff over the years.
Very sad to hear. He was one of the best, if not the very best. He helped me out recently on identifying an expertly faked Sub 1680 dial.
Read his informative posts often over VRF and other venues. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Dealt with Marcello many times over the years. A font of knowledge about vintage Rolex, and always ready to help and clarify a puzzling issue. This is very sad indeed.
