Does anyone own any manual dive watches with a screw down crown?

As a Speedy owner I like my manual wind watches. It's nice to keep it going with a wind on the weekend or to sit down and wind it in the morning knowing I'm good for the day.

The NIVADA GRENCHEN Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver is a diver with manual wind (and from the reviews I read) seems to have a screw down crown.

Just wanted to know if anyone has this model and or a diver that has manual wind? Is there a lot of wear?

The CASD does not have a screw-down crown, I have had a few.

Off the top of my head, I am not coming up with any manual winding divers with screw-down crowns, but I'm sure there are some out there. It's an interesting trivia question, but I'm not sure why it matters. Dive watches don't necessarily need screw-down crowns.

There are certainly manual winding divers, some skin divers for example.

Agreed, and that's just from what I read. I saw a YouTube video that looks like it was not screw down but again, I've read it's a screw down.
It would be a bit odd to choose to give a watch screw down and manual wind. It does seem like it would create a lot of wear.

It's one of the reasons I love manual, since there is no screw down it's faster to set or give a quick wind.

I can assure you that the CASD is not manual winding [Edit: meant to say that it doesn't have a screw-down crown.], but perhaps you need more convincing by other members since you have read the opposite. And if you want to talk about strange, why would a chronograph have a screw-down crown without securing the pushers.

All manual wind Rolex oyster-case watches have screw-down crowns obviously. People constantly talk about this issue of potential wear to the crown threads. You can find a lot of discussions about this issue on various watch forums.

CASD meaning Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver.
It's 100% manual wind.

Sorry, I meant to say that it doesn't have a screw-down crown as I mentioned originally. Yes it is manual winding. As I mentioned, I have owned several and have one sitting in front of me at the moment.

As Dan S mentioned, I would find it odd that a chrono would have a screw down crown and not have screw down pushers. If that's how this watch was designed, that would be really unusual since the pushers are a major weak-spot on any diving chrono. (Engaging the pushers under water would let water enter the case.)

I have a older Sinn 103 chronograph with 7760 hand wind movement with screw down crown. Works ok not really a diver but only hand wind wit screw down crown I own. No screw down pushers on mine.

Just got the watch in. The bezel is very stiff but the watch looks and feels great.
Manual wind, no screw down crown.
