Yeah, but watch season is 365 days a year. Stripers only run for 3-ish weeks in the spring and 5-ish weeks in the fall, with less odds of getting them from the beach.
Lightning strikes again on Monday - this time for my buddy: 40" and a pound or so heavier than mine last week. We watched guys just north of us land 4 small fish, one a short and 3 that were 28" to 31". This fish has as much meat as their 2 larger ones.
