I got this watch and I think its from 1980 or near there. It is never worn up.
I can't open the case it has a weird shape.I tried to open it today but no luck.
Anyone has Chinese watches?Post some photos if you want.

Well, I do have this thing I got for hiking. Which certainly bears no resemblance to a Suunto Traverse. None whatsoever. IMG_20180619_210941_HDR.jpg

What about the Fiyta Spacemaster Taikonaut watches tested by the China National Horological Quality Supervision ?
Worn by the first Taikonaut Yang Liwei in 2003 and by Taikonaut Zhai Zhigang during a spacewalk in September 2008, these came out available to the general public in two versions:
    54 mm case ( LE 55 pieces) and 45 mm case ( LE 700 pieces )

Not sure I understand your position.

The Swiss willingly sold or gave away the technology to make these watches to the Chinese and Russians after WWII up until the 1980’s.

If I had to guess, it's because it is one of the few commonly available Chinese watches available that isn't trying to emulate another watch.

Like the Swiss don’t do the same thing?::confused2::

I just get upset with a Euro-centric view of the watch world. I have nothing against a $1,000 Chinese made tourbillion, just so long there is no expectation that it is finished as nicely as a $100,000 Swiss model.

You get what you pay for. At least the Chinese watch companies are honest about that.

Oh I know. I'm definitely not in the same camp, and it's not the only Chinese watch I own. The watch my wife gave me for our wedding was a Sea-Gull M186S:

I tried one maybe 5 years ago. Hands just a bit too delicate for my unrefined tastes so flipped it. Also I recall that the case back tapered inwards quite severely...
