Mad Dog's refusal to eat their donuts made them finally come to the realization that they need to change their name to placate their best customer/ marketer.
In all seriousness ... its been about the coffee for many many years. (I don't get it really, but obviously some folks seem to love the stuff. Too bland for my taste.)
I don’t see how you can blame Mad Dog here. It it wasn’t for him Dunkin’ Would have shuttered their doors a long time ago.
