1970 French aeronautical engineer Pierre Satre onboard Concorde (the only airliner which could stay in the shadow of a Solar eclips, and did so during the June 30, 1973 eclips over North-Africa, observing the Sun for 1 hour 15 minutes ! ).
André Turcat was the pilot that day. Fun fact: I have the same blue leather Armée de l'Air pilot jacket 😁
