I've found a nice looking 168.017 but the lume pips are bothering me

a little bit...they seem too big! Any views?

The dial itself looks correct, but the lume has been redone (badly).

I agree that they seem very big. Especially noticeable on the 3 and the 6 (covers damn near the "SM" of Swiss made)

I've seen these old listings where the lume is less... Obtrusive

Great, thanks for confirming. they must have used a piping bag or something. And an important lesson here - if the lume distracts from the watch there is a problem!

Lume pips? Those are spider eggs, get the watch out if the house immediately!
