Hi Dablitzer, i,m based in the north west (cheshire), but saw the hidden lug watch in a fantastic watchmakers shop in Midhurst, whilst on holiday (Allnutts, who go under
www.littlecogs - Absolutely no affiliation whatsoever). But I was just Blown away by the service and the knowledge of the whole team. We were just passing, and they had a fantastic assortment of vintage peices, and about 20 Omegas In the shop window. I got chatting to Geoff, the owner, and as I,d bought a watch already this vacation ( a Seamaster Chronograph, cal 1040, MD 176.007, gold plate in an antique store in sussex), Geoff kindly opened it up for me so that I could inspect the movement and serial number etc. Once inside, We found a tiny bit of rust on the retaining ring, so Geoff kindly cleaned this up - free of charge, whilst we toured the rest of the town. Now thats service for you.
Will definately be sending some watches his way for service in future
cheers, Paul
