I have lowered the price of my SS Amvox1 below $6k in hopes to move it to a good home and to finance my next; is the market in standstill or is it just JLC who are slow to move?

Flippers help (yes, I'm looking at you, Dennis) :)

Nice watch. A friend of mine bought one recently... to go with his V-12 Aston Martin Vantage. He's more of a frenemy, really. Actually, I hate him.

Well, how many Calibre 135s does he own? :)

Zero 135's. And zero children. Thus the Aston Martin. :)

Out of curiosity - if the Aston is compensating for (ahem) "size", is there any relation between cal135 and having kids?

Not sure about the relationship between cal 135's and procreation. They seem to be more of a WIS-magnet than chick-magnet... though my gold one has generated interest from at least one discerning female. As for issues of compensation, I think a man willing to wear a watch of 36 mm diameter or less, in this day and age, is demonstrating something like the inverse of compensation, isn't he, my vintage-loving brothers? Hence the Cal 135 might be the anti-V12.
