I have lowered the price of my SS Amvox1 below $6k in hopes to move it to a good home and to finance my next; is the market in standstill or is it just JLC who are slow to move? Flippers help (yes, I'm looking at you, Dennis)
Handed to one of the bigger pre-owned/discounter shops http://www.timeofswitzerland.com/en/Jaeger_LeCoultre/Amvox/Amvox1_Alarm_190_84_70 Asked to have "make an offer" on it, so if the 6k threshold is the stopper...
Nice watch. A friend of mine bought one recently... to go with his V-12 Aston Martin Vantage. He's more of a frenemy, really. Actually, I hate him.
Out of curiosity - if the Aston is compensating for (ahem) "size", is there any relation between cal135 and having kids?
Not sure about the relationship between cal 135's and procreation. They seem to be more of a WIS-magnet than chick-magnet... though my gold one has generated interest from at least one discerning female. As for issues of compensation, I think a man willing to wear a watch of 36 mm diameter or less, in this day and age, is demonstrating something like the inverse of compensation, isn't he, my vintage-loving brothers? Hence the Cal 135 might be the anti-V12.
