I actually found this watch at a park bathroom years ago. I just never knew if it is real or not. I did some research online, and saw a couple like this, but most omega watches have the word "automatic" capitalized. Can someone give me some info please?

Redial for $50, Alex. I'm afraid to ask about the circumstances leading to your finding this watch.

They said "would you mind taking off your ring? It's scratching". He said "I ain't wearing a ring, that's my watch".

Here’s one with lower case “automatic” that is correct:

This style was used for a short time in the 1970’s.

The dial was repainted by someone not familiar with the original style of the watch.

Not sure what the “$50” comment was supposed to mean.

U guys r funny. I see some animosity. Listen you all, all I was doing was asking for some assistance. I so own a newer model omega semester that I played cash for. So, no hating please. I'm trying to figure out what I should do with this watch. I would just appreciate a little assistance.

What do you want to do with it? If you want to sell it just put it up on eBay, If you want to keep it you can start searching for a correct dial

But moreover there is no animosity here

Not sure what your issue is; no one is hating on you. The watch is a redial. If you don't know what a redial is, read the link that was provided. Not much value to collectors. As @Lucasssssss posted, put it on eBay with no reserve, state that it's a redial and let the bidding begin.

That is more helpful. Thank u. Can u tell me where to look for an original dial, and when u say dial do u mean the whole face and hands? I have also thought about buying some vintage watches, especially omega, and I am trying to learn here.

You first want to find out exactly what model it is. So you will need to open the back, take some photos of the caseback to find out the reference. Then have a long look on eBay

Thank you, but I have another dumb question. If I don't have a special tool to remove the back, is there another way I can remove the back? I have never taken the back off of a watch.

Take it to a watchmaker. You don't want to damage the case.
