Just thought I would share this beauty while the sun is out.
1959 5504 Super precision gilt/white tropical dial.
The dial is the best I have seen on one of these rare watches.

That is a stunner. I'd probably put it on a different strap though. I don't feel like that leather compliments it that well.

 

This is exactly the dial (and seconds hand) I would need for my not perfectly redialed 5504 (II 1958);

The serial is 370xxx, so 58-59.
Gilt with silver gilt explorer and super precision.

 

Another one of mine, this is a 66 1016, just as lovely as MY 5504 IMO.
