Probably because the same dial print was used for a luminous dial variant.

My guess..since that's not your watch...
It's a service dial
You should first check the serial number, T SWISS T on Rolex's Dial first used in 1961's
So, when the serial number indicates the year under 1961's, probably it's a service dial.....IMO

According to the other pics, the inner case back is marked I 64 and SN is 1,0XX,XXX, which is approximately 1964, so I doubt this is a service dial based on what you say.
