Any time bare metal is rubbing against bare metal there is a chance of damage. Otherwise why would we need lubricating oils? I thought everyone knew this basic stuff.

But it's really not rubbing any bare metal when on the end links stay in place. If I take it off I can push them down a little bit without them touching metal

Then wear it if you want to. It's not up to us to convince you of anything...

It is touching the case, its touching the lugs and rotating, that will cause friction, that will damage the case

Is it the original bracelet causing the issue?
IF NO=> get rid of this bracelet and get an original one
IF YES => let Omega Service deal with it

Original is very hard to find . It's not the standard speedmaster one .
This one came with a gen rubber seamaster strap when I got it

It's very easy to find, just call up your local Omega dealer, OB, or service center, and ask them for a 020ST1610930. Pay the money, and get the bracelet.

I wasn't aware that I could do that since it was discontinued.
Thank you very much

Your watch seems to be in great shape, it deserves the original bracelet. It will look fantastic 👍

It's not discontinued - the bracelet is still available from Omega.

Update
Showed the omega boutique the band it's been on and they said there should be no major issues because there's no metal grinding

So an OB approved a fake bracelet?
