I have a 14905 Seamaster where I can rotate the crystal freely with my fingers. Also I can slightly feel and hear it rock back and forth when I press on alternate sides. I assume this isn't normal? Is there something wrong with the crystal? Worth getting it looked at?

No not normal. Yes something wrong with crystal or case. Yes you should get it looked at.

Yes and soon, is this a new purchase ? If so maybe someone has installed the wrong crystal.
Whatever have it checked out before moisture etc. gets in.

Yeah I had a watchmaker open it up and maybe he didn't put it back on correctly?

Maybe "something happened" to your crystal and it was replaced with something close.

Don't use that watchmaker again is my advice.

Press fit crystals should snap into place and be firm with no movement.

Most later Omega crystals have a tension ring inside the crystal to provide additional security and they don't move.
