Loose 861 Speedmaster Reset Pusher Stem

During re-assembly I noticed the reset pusher stem is loose. The pusher stem screw is in all the way. The stem is not correctly aligned with the hour hammer operating lever. It is barely in contact with stem lip and will not function correctly in the current configuration.

Here's a picture.

Any help is appreciated. This one has me over a barrel.

Thanks!

You need to put all the parts in the right place… I’m a little confused by the question. The hour hammer piece needs to be seated properly so the pusher can be pressed and make contact.

Yes, normal and it will all line up fine when it’s in the case...

Sure, but in its current state, even in the case it won’t reset. He needs to align it first.

It's not a big deal - it will line up fine in the case. Most of the time they line themselves up, but even if they don't he just needs to get tweezers in there.

Thanks for the help. everything functions correctly when the stem is aligned. I did not case the movement, so I didn't know if that would set it in correct alignment.
