    Worn movement does not match the clean dial. I know little about UG but it appears to be a blatant redial. The minute track and tachy scale look off and check out that comically small "8" (hour marker). Would not be the first redial from TT either.

    They did not want to meddle with the "pristine condition".

    Are there correct UG Aero-Compax dials where "260" is marked on the tachymeter scale?

    I agree that it's a good redial overall, but an obvious one as well. Some of the tells are the blatantly wrong tachy scale, pointed A in 'CompAx', rounded 3 in the hour register, and like you said, the "Swiss made". I find that the Aero line is the hardest to find with an original dial in good condition, possibly because of the additional point of entry.

    Second "good" redial in the space of a week that I have seen advertised by "time Titans" .

    The seem to know their stuff according to advert so they really should know better. This sort of blatant attempt at deception will not be doing them any favours among the collectors community. And those prices.

    Look closely and you will notice registers are not centered. Something which seems very difficult to get right and a clear sign of redialling.

    Value? = sum of all parts (excluding dial)

    Talking about redialing what do you think about this one?

    I never saw a Cairelli like this. I would say that is a redialed Compur (round 3's, inconsistent numerals font, minute subdial thicker than seconds subdial, indexes 8 and 4 invading the subdials)...

    Edit: @Sanmilc posted the same question here;

    Maybe a more appropriate thread...

    Early UGs are a difficult and challenging topic. That one is not beyond the realms of a rare original cairelli which I think it is. The relationship between UG and Cairelli begun in the mid to late thirties. Around that time, it was quite acceptable to request a particular model with a set of custom features. You could design (within reason) your own dial ...
