I think people went a little nuts during the pandemic buying everything- particularly vintage everything (I was not immune from that).
The patina junkies came out of the woodwork and I think people were seeking some sense of a life well lived while they weren’t living much of any life of their own.

Now that the life is starting to return to normal and people are awaking from their lock-down drunken consumer rager, they look across the bed at their watch box and think- my god, what have I done.
