As you guys know I posted this watch which had some sort of stain from a previous water ingress on the dial

Just got it back from having the hands changed and fully checked over given a clean bill of health

 

Looks like a fine restoration

 

Nice. How was the dial repaired?

Why was it so well used in the first place, would love to know the back story?
