    Hi all,

First off thanks for taking the time to read this.
I'm a rookie and no barely nothing about vintage Omega watches.
If been strolling this forum for more information and came across so much. It is probably going to take a while before I get it all figured out. In the meantime I fell in love with a vintage Seamaster. It's a redial and looks different from any other Seamaster I have seen before because of it's painted numbers. Can anybody please tell me if this is even authentic? I'm aware that it is a redial, has replacement glass and looks to have a replacement backplate aswel...I still think it's a very good looking watch. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with me!

    Run away.

Its an authentic Omega, but not a Seamaster, Seamaster was simply added to the dial when the was horribly refinished, its a complete fantasy, nothing like it was ever done by Omega. Case style is for an Omega Geneve. Movement is in poor condition as well.
