The serial number puts this Seamaster to 1956, but I want to be sure it hasn’t been redialed. This is supposedly an untouched original dial and an unpolished case.

It looks good to me... but I’m a neophyte.

    Thoughts?

    No. :)

This is an amazing community of knowledgeable people, and I’m excited to find my first vintage watch. But I don’t want to make a mistake, and I recognize the potential hazards from other antique hobbies.

I hope I can contribute to the forum more than I take, but as a totally new member the balance will admittedly be less than ideal at first.
