I found a seller offering a 105.012-65 but things feel a bit off to me even though the seller claims everything is original. The price is good if I can snag it at the current price but here are my concerns:
    1) The movement on the serial is 24.956.XXX which is out of range for a 105.012-65
    2) The crown is incorrect
    3) Can't tell if the bezel is correct because of the wear
    4) On the inside of the caseback in the last photo, there seams to be a faint 146.012 SP stamp. Also, not sure if the HF stamp looks correct based on MWO pics.

Love to hear your thoughts on this piece. Thanks!

Double stamp is not unheard of. https://omegaforums.net/threads/speedmaster-double-reference.21742/

Looks like original pushers. Crown seems ok, what makes you think it's not?

Bezel is correct. You can see the dot, but not much of the 90.

By the movement number, it's more likely 145.012. Am extract would confirm.

Overall, not a bad watch. What's the price? I'd want more / better pics. Especially in natural light.

The crown looks ok to me - 24 teeth flat foot.
The bezel ok as well, the dot over 90 damaged but the dot Diagonal to 70 perhaps ok - I wouldn't price this bezel too high when doing your valuation, pretty rough.

Narrow T dial correct for '65.
    Looks like an honest watch

I've sent and message to the seller already and am waiting to get the ref for the bracelet and a picture of the caseback as well.

Thanks your input, with a bezel in this bad shape do I have to be comfortable with it or is doing a swap for an original DON later an okay move. Or is that frowned upon?

I'm hoping to snag it around 1.5k-2.5k, what do you think of that range? I didn't think the Omega logo looked correct based on MWO pics.

The watch is worth much more than that

Watch is worth more then 2.5. In the dial, bracelet, and hands.

Check the dot near 70 to verify the bezel.

Got it, that helps with me setting my own expectations. What range would you price it at given its current condition?

    Speedmaster101.com price charts.

    Assuming the serial matches...

Below good but that is not factoring the bracelet. Hard to say. But maybe above good minus 3k for a new bezel? Then 1k or more for the bracelet maybe 1.5?

Is it a 7912 bracelet based on the logo on the clasp?

You could most certainly change up to a better conditioned bezel or not, particularly when as you say are snagging this for only $2.5k????

    It's an absolute bargain...

The movement in the picture looks like 240XXX. Not sure why you say it's a 249XXX ?
I don't know why you're asking or where you're buying, but it would seem obvious that at around 2 grand it's a steal.

Yeah I agree that the pic looks like a 240 but the seller stated it's 249, so that's a little weird to me. I was just worried that it was put together or just off and wanted to see what the world thought of it.
