Hi, a friend has just acquired this vintage seamaster and has asked me to try and find any information on it. I know very little about vintage so what better place to ask than here? It appears to be a front loader case, the bracelet is a 1037 with 570 end links. Any ideas on age and value if any? Thanks in advance.
This one is a mid-size, probably ref 165.004, caliber 670/671, ca mid 1960s. Smaller size on these keeps values down, maybe $500 US even with the BOR bracelet. Looks like a nice unmolested watch. Get it serviced if its going to be worn.
