    Good afternoon,

New member here. Am hoping you all can give some assistance. I own a vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic. It was actually a garage sale find. So even if it's a fake I'm not out much $. Took a trip to watch repair to get it working, but running fine now. Neglected to get serial numbers from inside before it was sealed back up. So here I am...

Has day/date function and Arabic numerals. Luminosity still works. In fact it works better than my 5 year old Oris Williams F1!

I've included some pics. Can upload more if needed. As I said just trying to find some info on this timepiece. Year? Is it real? Etc...

    Thanks!

After a little Googling I´d say it could well be a 1970´s 166 0209 with a calibre 1020. It looks to have been re-dialed at some point in its life.

not a real specialist here, but the proportions of used space below the "12" seems way off ... but who knows, maybe they were having the summer interns work on the dial design in the 1970ies quartz crisis ;-)
