Hi guys, I recently acquired this 1950’s longines. I’ve opened the case back and it has a 22as automatic (19 jewels) - can’t find much more information on the piece or the same model online. Would love if someone could help me out! (Dial refinished, model, exact year, etc).

thanks!

I'd say old redial. Write down the serials, take pictures inside and out, and then ask Longines about it on their website? You will get at least the production year.

Yes, an older redial. The case ref. should be inside the case back. Probably mid-1950s.

Inconsistencies and messy printing in the chapter ring and funny-looking logo. It should look more like one of these (taken from the stickie thread here within our sub-forum).

Great thank you. Perhaps I should’ve taken a better picture as the messy printing on the chapter ring is caused by the reflection from the domed acrylic rather than actual printing issues.

Thank you for the information on the logo!

The give away is when the logo looks like a totem pole😉

Never the less a cool watch, nice size and movement😀
