Looking for info. 1965(?) Seamaster DeVille

I was gifted an Omega watch as a teenager (in the 1970s) which my stepfather sold without my knowledge or consent. My incredible sister who lives in London gifted me this SMDV for my 60th in June. It's being repaired (replacing/cleaning/oiling movement parts). I'm having trouble finding any info on this watch, or another one that looks like it. I've seen pics of faces with the cross, but always with the date. The dealer in London told her it was from 1965.

Any links/info, etc. would be appreciated

I believe that this is a US market model LL6287 with a cal. 550 movement. 1965 would seem to be the correct time period. I tried to search for a similar example without the date and only came up with a dead web link to one that was sold by Chrono24 in South Africa over 10 years ago.

I would say it is a common reference with an unusual dial design. The issue with searching for this case is that there were dozens of dial styles.
