Looking for bracelet for vintage Seamaster

Hi. I'm new here, so I apologize up front for any mis-steps... I've been given a vintage Omega Seamaster and I'm looking for a bracelet. The watch itself is away at Omega being restored, but they gave me the following info to help track down a bracelet. Case number is 2846. Reference number is 055CK2846. Lug size is 18mm.

I'm new to all of this, so please speak slowly 😀

I'm looking for a gold bead-of-rice bracelet. Any advice you can provide (model or part numbers, where to purchase, how much I should pay, etc.) would be greatly appreciated. Just let me know if there is further info anyone needs to help give advice.

Additionally, if anyone has any info on this watch (year, region, name, etc.) that would great too.

Thanks!

When you say you were given the watch, is it sentimental or was it just a gift?

You were okay with the quoted price for this job? 😲

Without knowing much about the market, it seemed the safest
The watch itself is in pretty bad condition. Omega will and are probably charging you quite a bit but if it is sentimental to you then you’re the one that makes that choice.

As for the bracelet I’m not sure if there is a suitable gold variant as your watch is gold capped? The bracelet I have for my own 2846 is a 1036 with #11 endlinks. But the bracelet is kind of besides the point as you probably aren’t going to get your watch back from Omega anytime soon…

The closest match will likely be a 5 row beads of rice in gold plate. You can find a good one for around £200.

I’d consider a brown or burgundy strap as well with a vintage Omega buckle.

Thanks Nepomuceno - I appreciate the details... 1036 with #11 endlinks. Can you recommend a reputable source (preferably in the US)? I've been looking on eBay

There's no obvious place to find things like this, you just need to hunt. eBay is as good a place as any. 1502 would also be an ok bracelet and 511 endlinks. Any combination of those bracelets and endlinks would work.

Btw, Omega can also sell you a new beads of rice bracelet for this watch.
Thanks masteroftime. I requested this from the boutique initially and they checked with the service center and told me they had no options for my watch. Can you direct me to anything that would show this option?
