any recommendations without sending it back to Zenith? Does not need an overhaul, just some basic cosmetic and seals. thx
I am in Seattle, so somewhere in the US would be cool. Although i do find myself in Stockholm sometimes. Lovely city. You watching Donald Duck now
I've heard of this firm that is in your neck of the woods: http://www.nesbitswatchservice.com/ And there's this: https://members.awci.com/AWCIWEB/AWCISearch/MemberSearch.aspx and this: http://net.nawcc.org/nawcc/businesssearch/
Theodore at ARC in Bellevue did work on my El Primero, which had some issues. He is MW21. Let me know if you want his info.
Ive never used them, but contacted them last year and received this reply to my question about if they could perform a sympathetic service on a vintage Seamaster: "I can quote for a new bezel replacement if you wish and we may require the dial be replaced due to the damaged luminous." ...needless too say I didn't send in the watch.
Not surprising - they used to be an Omega service center, and I think still use those same philosophies when servicing...fine for many but not for a lot of vintage collectors.
