Looking for a trusted watchmaker (France / Europe)

Hi everyone,

I had initially planned to send my vintage Speedmaster 105.012-66 to Simon Freese for a service. But given the current context and the concerns recently raised on the forum, especially regarding long delays and lack of communication, I’m now quite hesitant. I also haven’t received any reply to my emails.

I’m looking for a reliable watchmaker, ideally in France or at least in Europe, with experience in vintage Speedmasters and who will respect the originality of the watch.

Rob Horan, based in Charente (France), was mentioned a few years ago as a good option. Does anyone know if he is still active?
Any recent recommendation would be greatly appreciated.
