Hi, i am looking for a tri-compax for a long time. It should be/have: - bigger than 34,5mm without crown - 18k yellow gold - White/light dial with applied yellow gold indices (numeral would be nice) - leaf hands In fact, it should be similar to the shown compax, but a trip-compax... Do you photos or references in mind, which fulfil my requirements? I am waiting for my Sala's book for christmas to get more UG information on my own ;-)
This is a good basic reference guide: http://www.timepiecechronicle.com/f...uide-universal-geneve-tri-compax-1944-to-1949 12283 seems to be closest to what you are looking for.
Thanks for the link, studied it yesterday. I thought the 12283 or the 12551 truman are looking right. But the 12283 is only 34,5mm and too small for me. So i think, the 12551 is looking right to me because of the 36mm (without crown?!).
It looks nice, thanks a lot that you think of me. But for the moment i am just happy with my steel one and need no more.
